There were excellent conditions on day two with a South-Westerly wind of 8 to12 knots. Olympic siver medallist in the Finn Class Rafael TRUJILLO is still in the lead with three wins and a seventh place. Second place is for Spanish sailor Pablo ARRARTE followed by Dutch sailor Wietze ZETZEMA in third place.
In the Europe class, Neus GARRIGA with two wins and a second place is on top of the overall results. Second and third places are for Spanish sailors Marc PARIS and Jordi GARRIGA with equal points.
In the 49er class, Spanish crew Alberto PADRON/Javier de la PLAZA (Audi Canarias) are in the first position. Second place is for German team Peckolt/Peckolt and French team Manu DYEN/Yann ROCHERIEUX (Banque Populaire) are third overall.
Fernando ECHAVARRI/Antón PAZ (Telefónica Movistar) continue in the second position of the overall standings with just one point from leading German team Johannes POLGAR/Florian SPALTEHOLZ (RS). Third place is for Austrian crew Thomas ZAJAC/Thomas CZAJKA (OTIS Marinepool).
The French team of Nicolás DURON/Sebastien DURAND (Banque Populaire) are the leaders of the men's 470 fleet and and are followed by just one point by the Spanish team of Francisco Sánchez FERRER/Alejandro RAMOS.
The women's 470 overall standings are led by Austrian team Sylvia VOGL/Carolina FLATSCHER (Skandia), followed by Swiss team Emmanuelle ROL/Anne-Sophie THILO (Delarive Groupe) and third place is for Kathrin KADELBACH/Saskia SCHOEDER (Musto) from Germany.
German sailor Mathias RIECK (Infocity) is the leader in the Laser class after four races, followed with only two points between him and Italian sailor Giorgio POGGI. In third position is Athens Olympic silver medallist, Andreas GERITZER (SOYA/Novy-Hans) from Autria.
British sailor and bronze medallist at the 2004 Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship, Charlotte DOBSON leads the Laser Radial standings followed by German sailor Christiane de NIJS and third place is for German sailor Petra NIEMANN.
The Mistral men results are led by Dejlla ABDELATIF followed by Bouhadjira MANAR from Algeria. The Mistral women standings are led by Algerian sailor Bouleghab SABAH followed by Younsi NADA.
