The 2011 ISAF Team Racing World Championship will be held from 27 August to 4 September in Schull, West Cork, Ireland.

All races will be on Schull Harbour from the Fastnet Marine & Outdoor Education Centre with excellent spectator opportunities ashore. The centre is located on the western edge of Schull harbour just five minutes walk from the village of Schull.

As a sailing destination, Schull's location on the South West coast of Ireland benefits from the Gulf Stream current which maintains the region's sea temperaure at relatively mild levels allowing year round sailing. water temperature during the event period would typically vary from 12 to 14ºC while wind prevails from the South West at an average of 11 knots. Weather conditions can vary at the end of summer with typical air temperatures of 13 to 21ºC.
